RENEW

RENEW

We’ve been walking through an arc of sacred progression.

From turning…
to reconciling…
to redeeming what was lost…
to rising again…
and now—we breathe.

Resurrection brings you back to life.
Renew teaches you how to live there.

There comes a moment—after the rising— when something settles inside of you.

You can breathe again.
You can see again.
You can hear, taste, and feel again.

You are no longer grasping for life or gasping for breath.

You are in it—experiencing it, moving toward a quiet sense of peace and calm.

Not forced awareness, nor hypervigilance, but a steady, grounded noticing.

There is a moment—quiet, almost easy to miss—when something in you exhales, the kind of moment that brings you to your knees—not in defeat, but in rest.

Not because everything is fixed, and not because life has suddenly become simple, but because you are no longer where you once were.

You turned.
You walked through what needed to be restored.
You were brought back to life.

And then—without effort, without announcement—you emerged.

It’s like stepping out of the ocean, the turquoise water behind you—you feel refreshed, rejuvenated, and fully alive.

For me, renewal is found in the continual moments when I stop bracing for the unexpected and allow myself to simply be.

It is an ongoing way of living, being, and calibrating.
It is prayerful.
It is meditative.

Renewal is the quiet return to a regulated nervous system—where you can think clearly, where your body settles, and something begins to shift without force.

Your awareness becomes clearer, not through effort, but because you are no longer operating from tension.

You begin to see yourself more clearly—your beauty, your giftedness—without needing to strive for it.

Renewal does not move your life forward on its own; it requires your participation.
It invites you into something deeper and quieter—a way of living that cannot be forced.

You can be given new life and still live from old patterns—and that does not serve you.

You can feel refreshed and still return to what was depleting you—and that does not give you peace.

You can know something has shifted and still not know how to move differently yet—and you do not have to remain there.

But as the need to force softens and the need to control loosens, your truth begins to emerge—and with it, the ability to choose differently.

You begin to relate to your emotions differently—not as something to fear or escape, but as something to understand.

Not as threats, but as messengers—bringing context instead of chaos.

Renew becomes a quiet, ongoing way of being—a steady awareness that allows you to engage with life from a place of presence, stability, and choice.

It softens the edges, quieting urgency, and widening your perspective.

And without striving, you begin to live differently—not because you are trying to change, but because you can finally see clearly enough to do so.

Life begins to feel safe enough to engage again.

Presence no longer feels overwhelming or burdensome.
It feels invitational and available.

Renew is rest.

It is allowing your body to restore and honoring the life you’ve been given by caring for it with intention.

And whether you name it or not, this is the deeper truth:

Life was given to us as a gift to live fully—
in love,
in joy,
in peace,
in care,
in compassion,
and in connection.

And from that place—a raw groundedness and a lived freedom—renew begins.

Not as a demand, but as a way of living.

Etymology-Renew (verb)

re- = again

new (from Latin novus) = fresh, restored, made new

To renew is to make new again.

“Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.”
— 2 Corinthians 4:16 (NIV)

CONSIDER

This month, we are not going to engage in Pause & Contemplate, Pause & Center, nor Pause & Commit.

You have been doing the hard work over these past four months.

So, I’d like you to consider this:

If you were to take Renew to the next level,
what might you be willing to do differently?

Something carefree.
Something fun.
Something that brings laughter.
Something spontaneous.

So, your body can settle, restore, rejuvenate, and renew.

Until next time, be blessed.
